The ADT Transmitter issues archived here are from the personal accumulation of an ADT / Tyco retiree. The collection consists of about 160 different issues and represents roughly 40% of the total issues published.

Starting with the 1937 issues, an index has been created of all subscriber names and cities mentioned in newsletter articles. ADT Associate names are also included in the index when the associate’s name is prominently noted in an article. Minor ADT name references, such as, “guard Smith was dispatched . . .” are not indexed. Names of other prominent non-ADT persons are also included in the index. Photos are also documented in the index.

Currently, the index documents business names and individuals mentioned in issues from 1937 to 1954. The index will be expanded as more issues get scanned and archived in the future.

The index can be downloaded in three different layouts by clicking on the links: 1) a PDF file sorted by business name; 2) a PDF file sorted by state and city; or, 3) a PDF master index sorted by volume, issue and page listing every business name and individual name in the order they appear in the newsletters.
